This is a basic nail design using a dotting tool, the possibilities are endless , they are extremely cheap and should be in every ones nail art set!

To do this basic design just paint a colour of your choice as your base colour.
You also need a white and black nail polish.
I used my green dotting tool which has a large tool on one end and a small one on the other. as you can see they are very well loved.
Using the brush of the nail polish apply the white to the dotting tool.
Dab the dotting tool in the middle of the base at the cuticle.
Using the small dotting tool do the same again and add a dot of white above the larger dot.
Using the same dotting tool add a black dot to the middle of the large white dot.
