DIY Spa Day

After a very stressful week I like to just sit down relax and have some alone time. I have previously done a blog post which is similar called Pamper Evening .
However this one is more  DIY and a cheaper alternative to using products.

DIY spa day:

Have a baking soda and salt bath, it removes all toxins from your body and prevents them coming back.

Put a soothing smell in the room, you can boil orange peels, use vanilla extract or boil cinnamon sticks for a natural smell.

While the conditioner is in your hair put it up in a towel. This means it can soak in and give your hair the care it needs.

Finish your bath with cold water to lock in moisture in. Its better to do this in the day time to wake you up. Then wash off the conditioner.

Pluck your eye brows as the heat from the bath has opened up the pores so it less painful.

Boil water and pour into a large bowl or your bathroom sink. Add some essential oils or a few sprigs of mint to the water for a little bit of extra flair. Drape a towel over your head and sit with your head over the steaming water. Stay there for about 5-10 minutes. Listen to music while doing this so it's not as boring.

Splash your face with warm water then pat it dry. Take out your face mask and apply according to the instructions on the bottle or packet.  Read a magazine to keep yourself entertained while the mask works its magic, or cover your eyes with cucumber slices and just listen to music. After about ten minutes, take the mask off and rinse your face.
Apply a calming scented body lotion or body butter and sit and relax whilst it is soaking in.

Tone and plump the skin on your face. You can do this by putting an ice cube into a plastic bag, and rubbing it gently all over your face for a couple of minutes. Do it until your skin is damp and plump.
Then just relax and fall asleep.

Simple, easy and yet effective. Some of these ideas may be a little over the top for some of you so you don't have to try all of them at once, just choose one section and try that out to see if you like it!
Hope you enjoyed this love you guys,
Becky xx
