Last week I went to Birmingham for an event called 'Clothes Show Live' It is a convention which is entirely based around fashion and even displays work from new up coming designers.
The night before I spent a night in a hotel so I could get there for when the doors open as I am not very keen on busy crowded spaces I get really anxious. This really worked for me as I got up got ready and then simply went down the road. I got all my shopping done early (haul post coming soon) and then sat in the front rows for the catwalk.
I got to go into the 'special entrance to the main cat walk as I was on the front row. This was a big deal for me as it was the first time I had sat in the front row of a fashion show. The clothing displayed on the multiple cat walks were simply divine. I especially liked the male models as you can clearly see from the mass of photos of them topless *guilty* . The main catwalk itself was a bit different it wasn't just modelling they also danced along and had an opening act which was infact stereo kicks from x factor. +Jim Chapman was also co hosting which made the day even better as he is one of my favourite blogger and youtuber. The other catwalk show I went to was the graduate catwalk which presented work from the University of Derby, Inkberrow Design Centre and many others. The pictures for this catwalk was taken on my phone as my camera battery died *SO ANNOYING!* so sorry for the bad quality.
I had an amazing time and it was an overall great experience i learnt so many new things and discovered some new brands and products it was like a Girly Things and Other Stuff heaven!
Love you, Becky
