Recently I went on a beauty haul, I went to boots in my
local shopping centre, I was in there four around an hour maybe even more, I spent abit of money, I don’t really want to work it out because it would be to depressing I will probably see it when I get my next balance from the bank.
I will start with hair,I bought this L’oreal Paris studio
line #txt texture styling volume supersizing spray (quite a mouthful) it is
only £3.79. it is my favourite item I have bought. I saw youtuber and fellow blogger +Zoella raving about this product and I completley understand why. It gives you backcombed volume so easily, you literally just spray it on your air, scrunch it up and play around abit. You get so much volume. It is not heavy, not stiff , not crunchy and its brushable. It is so easy to use, it just works amazing and causes less damage than back combing but gives you better results.
I got this boots own style works heat protection serum. It was only £1.79, it is only a small bottle however it works really well. When your hair is damp, spray a couple of pumps on then blowdry it. It really protects your hair, I only need about 5 sprays so this will last me almost two months. Large bottles can be quite expensive but this works out cheaper overall (I did the maths) also a small bottle is easier to take travelling.
I got this simple toner, this is £2.99, it is perfect for skin like mine (teenage skin) . It helps with oil and blemishes. I got two of these because it was 3 for 2.
Also in this deal I bought this oil balancing moisturiser which again is perfect for oily teenage skin like mine. It also controls shine which is quite important for my skin.
I also bought this Vaseline deodorant, my skin is sensitive and this is perfect for me as it has aloe vera. It smells so fresh and because it is vaseline it is super soothing and soft. This is on special at the moment for a pound.
I bought this Rimmel London wake me up foundation, I got it in the shade ivory. It fits my skin tone absolutley perfectly. It smells so fresh, I know that smell isn't really something you look for in a foundation but it is an added bonus. I also love the orange cap for some reason it just makes the packaging look more appealing compared to other boring foundations. I love it! Also the anti fatigue effect is perfect for me as I am a teenager, I have to get up early and this just makes my skin look glowing and radiant.
I also bought the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Conceler. I didn't buy this because it went with the foundation I got this because it also has an anti fatigue effect and it was on special for £3.49 rather than over £5. I just put this under my eyes and conceal blemishes and it works really really well.
This powder is really popular at the moment, it is an essential for me, I do not know what I would do without it, it works so well. goes on so easily and it does exactly what it says on the packaging. It is only £3.99 and works better than some high end pressed powders I have tried.
I got this Rimmel London exagerate undercover shadow primer. When you have fished all your face make up, just close your eyes, using the lip gloss shaped brush just dab a tiny bit onto your eye lids, using you ring finger (as it has less germs as you you don't really touch stuff with it) dab/spread around your eye lid, wait for it to dry and them add your eye shadow. The lightweight silicone formula preps and smoothes lids for 18-hour wear, crease-proof and smudge proof guarantee! It is the cheapest eye shadow primer i could find for only £4.99
From L'oreal Paris I got this Contour Khol eye liner pencil.I had one of these before but I used it up so I bought a new one. I really like it, it is really bold and well pigmented. It goes on surprisingly well for a pencil.
To go on my eye lid it bought this boots own Natural collection duo eye shadow in the shades: Mink and Sable (not really sure on the names, they sound weird to me). The colours go really nicely together. I use the lightest colour as the base the put the dark colour in the crease then smudged out. It looks really nice and because it is brown it goes really nicely with my blue eyes. This is only £1.99. Amazing!
The last thing I bought from boots was like Kate Moss lipstick from Rimmel London. From the matte collection. It is in the shade 101, I really wish they had names but oh well... it is a really nice light pink colour. It is really pigmented and I really like the packaging, it has her signature on it! I decided on the matte over the orginal because I can wear it matte or glossy by just adding vaseline or a clear lip gloss over the top, so it is best of both worlds.
I know this isn't really beauty related but on the way home we stopped at Dunelm Mill which is a home store we went for some new curtains for my room, which you can see in the second picture. I sadly couldn't find this online but it is from the Marie Therese Collection. It brightens up my rooms so much more and as I have a white bulb it makes the lighting so much easier for camera work. I think it is super pretty and really girly and I really like it.
Any way so that was my day shopping, I hope you guys liked this new kind of blog, I haven't done one like it before but I enjoyed it and I hope you did to.
