Under Eye Routine

I suffer from quite bad dark circles under my eyes. I have tried multiple products that for me simply do not work. I have discovered that for me personally a routine works better. I do this before  put any other make up on. This is the before and after picture. The dark circles didn't come up that well in the pictures (thank good). All of these products are drug store products so they are very affordable.

 In order from left to right:
Boots, cucumber eye gel
Max Factor, CC Dullness corrector
Max Factor, CC under eye circle corrector
Avon, clear skin stock cream concealer
Collection, lasting perfection concealer

I also add some pressed powder underneath to help the makeup last for longer, I apply it with a small eye shadow brush so I can apply it more directly.

So first apply a small amount of eye cream or gel, this moisturieses under your eyes and helps the products apply easier. I just dab that in around the eye area and wait for it to soak in.

I next apply the first colour corrector just over the darker parts under my eyes, the light blue colour helps get rid of the look of dullness. It is a creamy/ waxy consistancy so it helps to rub your fingers together first before rubbing into the skin as it heat from your fingers helps it melt into your skin.

With the other colour corrector I then draw a triangle under my eyes and again rub in with warm fingers into the skin.

Apply the cream stick concealer into the area where you added the blue colour corrector, this is becuase the dark colours need abit extra covereage and also this concealer has a slight orange tint to it which also helps cover the blueish shades as they are oppoiste on the colour wheel.

Apply the liquid concealer into the triangle again and blend out either using your finger or a brush, I prefer to use this concealer brush I got from boots.

When your done just apply some pressed powder with a small brush, remember to push the powder on not brush as you will remove the make up. 

So this is the finished look, I went ahead and added some eye make up on to show you my completed eye look. From close up you can see that under the eye is brighter the makeup has covered the dark circles.
