When I want to spice things up a bit and get bored with my straight hair I like to curl it or add some waves for a new look. I try to use a minimal amount of heat on my hair as it is weak anyway, so heatless waves are so easy and quick, I just sleep then wake up in the morning take it out and I am ready to go no hassle at all.
All you need is two nail bands, preferable ones with out the metal bits as they can cause creases.
I washed my hair and kept it in a towel for around 20 minuets until it was still damp/wet but not dripping. Just brush all the knots out using a wide tooth comb but I used my tangle teaser. Part your hair using a comb, then drag the comb back behind your head to make a parting in the back, so now you have two sections of hair at the side of your face.
Separate out the front bit, I used my fringe and a bit more use a comb and do a line down to around your ear.
Separate that in half.
Twist the two peices round each other, each time you turn pick up a bit of hair changing which one you add the hair to each time. Keep picking up hair and twisting. It is like a French braid but with a twist.
As you can see I am holding one piece and let the other hand down, the hair next to that will join the piece hanging down and bought over the front of the part I am holding.
When all the hair is in the two pieces just twist round one another till the end.
Add a hair band to end.
Do both sides of your hair , as you can see when you put the hair band in the twists will loosen a bit but that is okay.
If you are going out straight away you can blow dry your hair but as that is adding heat you can just sleep in the twists, then when you wake up in the morning just take out the hair bands and use your fingers to brush out the twists and loosen the waves a bit.
This is what the waves look like, I brushed these out quite a bit for a natural look and this was taken after a day, they had fallen out a bit but I still love how they look.
I hope you guys like this heatless wave tutorial, it is so easy and its a beautiful look you can achieve without using any tools and heat. Try it out for your self!!
Love you xx
